In-Person Worship During COVID
At HCC, we continually work to provide a safe, clean enviornment for those who choose to join us in person. We encourage everyone who attends to be mindful of the latest recommendations put forth by the state of OH considering COVID-19.

Our Current Worship Options

  • Worship Center: Now that adult Bible classes have resumed and many more chairs have been added to the main worship center, Sunday services will no longer be broadcast to the Fireside Room. The worship center provides plenty of space for people to maintain an appropriate distance. The 9:00a service usually has a lower attendance allowing for even greater distancing. (State order regarding masks.)
See below for more detailed information about what Sundays 'look like' at HCC.
  • Parking Lot: We will continue to broadcast our Sunday services live on 99.1 FM for any who want to join us for worship in the parking lot.
  • Live-Stream: Our full worship services can be viewed live at 9:00a and 10:30a. In addition, all past services are archived and available to watch online.

The Details (What Sundays 'Look Like' at HCC)

  • We have two Sunday morning worship services at 9:00a and 10:30a.
  • The services are generally be shorter in length, 45 minutes by design.
  • Social distancing is observed. We encourage everyone to maintain appropriate distance and be courteous of others. (State order regarding masks.)
  • The nursery is designated as a cry room for parents to take their small children if needed. This room is cleaned, but not staffed with volunteers.
  • All greeters and servers are asked to wear masks.
  • Chairs in the main worship area are spaced for social distancing. People who attend are asked to ‘social distance’ by family unit.
  • Those listening in the parking lot on FM 99.1 are asked to bring their own communion supplies.
  • We do do not pass communion or offering trays.
  • Communion packets can be picked up on tables outside the sanctuary.
  • Offerings can be placed in the offering boxes located on the walls in the sanctuary and Fireside room.
  • Hand sanitizer is distributed throughout the building.
  • A great effort is made to wipe down and clean all appropriate areas, before, between, and after services.
