WE LOVE CAMP!

Round Lake Christian Camp is located in Lakeville, OH, which is about 50 miles northeast of HCC. Each summer, we attend multiple sessionss of camp built for kids in Preschool through kids going into 6th grade (upcoming 7th graders attend Round Lake with our Student Ministry).

We highly encourage each family to take advantage of our camps at Round Lake. Camp is where kids connect with Jesus and their peers in amazing ways and has been changing lives since 1949.

Recommended Camp Sessions 2024

Your kids are welcome to attend any session of camp,
but below are the weeks we recommend and will be apart of:
  • Preschool Camp (Ages 4-6): August 3, 2024
  • First/Second Grade Camp One: July 3, 2024
  • Second/Third Grade Overnight Camp: June 30 - July 1, 2024
  • Third/Fourth Grade Camp Two: June, June 12-14 2024
  • Fifth/Sixth Grade Camp Two: July 14-19, 2024
  • Seventh-Ninth  Grade  MEGA Camp: July 21-26, 2024
  • Seventh-Ninth Wilderness: July 28 - August 2, 2024

Vacation Bible School

One week every summer, we have Vacation Bible School (VBS) at HCC. Kids ages 4 through upcoming 6th graders are welcome to attend. The week is full of great teaching, games, crafts, music and more!

This year's themr is going to be "WILD LIFE".

Weekend Retreats

We have a couple of different retreats throughout the school year that are incredible opportunities for your kids to connect with Jesus and grow in their relationships with other kids and leaders in HKM Elementary. Our two retreats are the Round Lake Elementary Retreat and CIY Superstart!

Both of our weekend retreats have already passed for this year, but we look forward to next year!

Journey to Bethlehem

Every other December at HCC, we host an event called "Journey to Bethlehem". As a family, you have an opportunity to explore the sights and sounds of Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth.

This creates an opportunity for each family to not just hear about Christmas but experience the real meaning of it too. You and your family are invited to join us at our next Journey to Bethlehem in December of 2025.
